The Maldives

Maldives is still truly one of the few remaining island paradise in this world. Scattered across the Indian ocean, to the South-West of Sri Lanka, forming an archipelago of 1190 islands with beautiful lagoons consisting of all shades of blues imaginable and the finest pure white sandy beaches scattered with swaying palm trees, defines the dream ‘Robinson Crusoe islands’. Made up of 26 natural atolls and average elevation of around 2.5 meters above the sea level, makes the Maldives one of the flattest countries in the world.

With a population just over 300,000, inhabiting just under 200 islands and an additional some 90 plus islands operating as resort islands with each individual resort built over its own individual island, Maldives offers you a unique beauty and tranquility that is uniquely Maldivian with hundreds of uninhabited islands that can calm your mind and soul.

Maldives is known for its fine white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise lagoons and most importantly, its mesmerizing underwater beauty. The combination of the colourful corals to the most breathtaking giants of the seas such as mantas and whale sharks, Maldives will take away your breath whether you are a novice or a dive connoisseur.
